Create a comprehensive education ecosystem supporting learning across all career stages and disciplines.
Education strengthens clinical practice, accelerates research translation, and builds capability across the profession.
HSANZ is building on its independent education with an online platform of resources for each career stage. This will be led by HSANZ’s Education Subcommittee, with clinician and nurse members, for independent, cross disciplinary haematology education to further strengthen the profession; enabling career long development and engagement. To advance knowledge, education, research and clinical practice.
All HSANZ Members are welcome to contact the Education Subcommittee with ideas and proposals via comms@hsanz.org.au.
HSANZ’s education strategy centres on digital transformation; broadening access to independent, clinician-led content across the full membership and across all career stages.
Sustain and strengthen high-quality, independent, clinician-led education. This includes HSANZ’s state-based education meetings and Blood, the premier Australasian haematology scientific and educational meeting. Develop a digital Learning Hub to support continuing professional development, providing on demand access to lectures, conference highlights, expert interviews and other educational resources in non-malignant and malignant haematology, with resources relevant to metropolitan and regional and rural haematology and for public and practice sectors. Expand content formats to include podcasts, short videos, and allied health-specific modules.
Integrate education offerings with career pathways to support progression at each stage.
Ensuring accessibility for our members across Australia and New Zealand.
