Position: Haematology Trainee

A full-time job is available at Royal Darwin Hospital for a haematology trainee until January 2009, effective immediately. The hospital is accredited for training by both RACP and RCPA. The tropical environment and relatively young population of Darwin provides exposure to some unique aspects of haematology. The work is complex and covers all areas of ward and laboratory activities. After work you will be rewarded by beautiful weather, good food and plenty of entertainment.

HSANZ Nurses’ Group

HSANZ Nurses GroupThe establishment of the HSANZ Nurses’ Group (HSANZ-NG) was announced at the 2007 Annual General Meeting of the Society. The group brings together specialist haematology nurses from Australia and New Zealand under the HSANZ umbrella, recognising continuing growth in the nursing stream at the HAA ASM and the increasing numbers of nurses wishing to join the Society. HSANZ-NG publishes a quarterly newsletter.
